Pole Dance Mississauga

Brand new to pole dancing? Learn the foundations of pole dance including basic spins, strength holds and floor work to help develop upper body, core strength and flexibility. This class will also introduce you to pole sits and balance exercises to further improve your strength, flexibility and coordination.

Not recommended as your first class as this is a mixed level class (all levels welcome from beginner to intermediate). No matter your pole level, you will learn the moves that are just right for you! Work on pole conditioning, spins, choreography, climbs, and inverts.

Calling all tricksters! Use this unsupervised practice time to work on aerial tricks and transitions.

Please keep to your level!

Floor Play is more than rolling around on the ground. Floor Play tests your strength, co-ordination and rhythm by combining stretch and heels dance to exemplify your movements.

If you have never taken aerial hoop or are new to aerial dance, this class is for you. You will begin with a series of strength, flexibility and conditioning exercises that will help prepare you to later on transition into the air. You will learn the various techniques to enter and exit the hoop, along with conditioning exercises using the hoop.

You must take Intro to Lyra a minimum of 3 times prior to joining Lyra Poses and Sequences class.

If you have never taken Aerial Silk Hammock, this class is for you! You will begin with a series of strength, flexibility and conditioning exercises that will help with basic entries and exits, and you will also learn how to use the fabric to practice inversions and other fundamental movements.

You must take Intro to Silk a minimum of 3 times prior to joining Hammock Shapes and Transitions class.

Dreaming of a round sexy booty? Dream no more! This class will make you sweat from your own hotness by focusing on your favourite muscle group the Gluteus aka the booty! Build and tone your butt from every angle, to bring out that lifted and gifted round booty. We also work on shrinking that waist line, to accentuate the booty for a more dramatic and hourglass look.

This class will introduce you to climbing, strength holds and a variety of more complex pole tricks and combinations. In this class we will also expand our knowledge of handstands and other balance exercises on and off the pole.

Prerequisite: You must have permission from a dance captain to attend this class.

This class will expand on everything learned in Climbs & Combos. Perfect those climbs, strength holds and learn a variety of more complex tricks and some basic inversions on both a static and a spinning pole.

This class will introduce you to the techniques for leg hangs, inversions, and a variety of more complex tricks and combinations on both a static and a spinning pole. In this class we will also expand our knowledge of handstands and other balance exercises on and off the pole.

Prerequisite: You must have permission from a Pole Climbs or a Pole Inversions dance captain to attend this class.

Expand your dance and spin repertoire; this class is designed for those who feel confident in their pole dance ability and are working on executing pole tricks and transitions with more of a focus on lines and fluidity.

Prerequisite: You must currently be attending Balancing Act classes (minimum once a week) and have permission from a dance captain to attend this class.

This class is designed for those who are confident in their inversions and are working towards learning/perfecting higher-level tricks and transitions on spin and/or static pole.

Pre-requisites: Brass Monkey grips, Handsprings (both sides), Aerial Shoulder Mounts (twisted or cup grip)

Learn body isolations, dynamic floor transitions and heel banging accents in this sexy pole dance choreography class. Strap on your highest heels, slip on those knee pads and work on the art of sensual movement and flow.

This class is for strong pole dance students. Must be in Pole Climbs OR have permission from a dance captain.

Low Flow -Basework is erotic dancing around the base of the pole. In this class you will learn the latest non-aerial pole spins, creative floor transitions and tantalizing dance sequences to today’s biggest hits.

This class is for strong pole dance students. Must be in Pole Climbs OR have permission from a dance captain.

Improve your stamina and endurance in this all level class where learn to flip, turn, roll, pose, and transition between beautiful poses on the lyra. You will learn and train more complex shapes and poses, gradually progressing into longer and more fluid sequences with a greater focus on artistry and quality of movement.

In this class, you will build on the fundamentals learned in Intro to Hammock, diving deeper into new skills, wraps and transitions both below and standing above the hammock loop. You will continue to develop your technique, strength and stamina while learning to create fluid movement in the air.
